Rail Gasket is placed between the pan and the arch rail to prevent cold air from leaking into the arch and cooling off the pan. It is a fire resistant material.
2″ wide rail gasket is most commonly used on Corsair and Silverplate evaporators. 1″ wide rail gasket works best on the Gas-Fired Finisher/Evaporators, StarCats and Dauntless.
