Wiring A Silverplate Blower

This article applies to dual speed blowers which come standard on all 30″ or wider Silverplate Evaporators.

The blower has a common wire (white).  You’ll use the white wire along with whichever other wire you’d like based on fan speed.  When powering through the black wire, the blower will deliver full power, about 800 CFM. When powering through the red wire it will deliver 575 CFM. If your wood is well seasoned and you don’t need maximum output choose the latter. If you need to maximize combustion, use the former.  Some people use a switch on the wall to easily toggle between the two.

2′-wide Silverplate Evaporators come standard with a single speed blower.
