Packaging Details

The Arch (AKA Firebox) comes packed in two cardboard crates as described below. Pans and accessories (when applicable) are packaged separately from the Arch.

ARCH CRATE 1 = 20 x 4 x 31

  • Side Panels, qty 2
  • Back Panel
  • Back Panel Insulation (Nested inside the Back Panel)
  • Front Panel
  • Front Panel Insulation (Nested inside the Front Panel)
  • ASSEMBLY GUIDE (Located in an envelope, on top of the Back Panel)
  • NOTE: Foam blocks in this package are not components of your arch. They simply help us ensure safe shipping.

  • Base Half, qty 2
  • Smaller Inner Carton

Assembled StarCat Arch with Brick Kit

The Arch parts will come unassembled in two cardboard crates. Your kit will include paint, hardware, insulation, stack pipe, guy support, grates and assembly guide.

Pneumatic Tires for StarCat or Dauntless

Pneumatic Tire Set (Straight Runners), For StarCat or Dauntless

The Pneumatic Tire Kit is an easy solution to transport your Smoky Lake evaporator through just about any terrain. If you boil sap outdoors but need to wheel your evaporator into a building when you’re not using it, this is for you. If you keep your evaporator in one building but seasonally transport it to another location — and back again, this is for you. The Pneumatic Tire Kit can also be left on your evaporator while using it, raising it to an even more comfortable height. Tons of convenience and versatility. Bolted on in only a few minutes!

Please note: This type of wheel kit does NOT swivel. They are “Straight Runners” which means you will point the evaporator in the direction you want to go, and roll away. Never try to force pneumatic tires to turn.

    Arch well built and very durable. Just wish there were pan holders like you have for the heater pan. I guess most use insulation though.
