Description

This model of Valve Assembly is compatible with an evaporator pan draw-off port with a 1-1/2″ Sanitary Fitting.

An Automated Draw-Off Valve (shown ghosted in the product photo on this page) is included with every Smoky Lake Auto Draw-Off System. Therefore, the automated valve is NOT a bundled component of the Auto Draw-Off Valve Assembly. It is available separately if needed.

Important Tips

Use plumber’s tape on all threaded connections to ensure a watertight seal and to prevent thread binding.
Never pull or put pressure on the Automated Valve’s Control Head. Instead, grip the stainless steel part of the Automated Draw-Off Valve with a wrench to tighten.
Using the Master Open/Close Valve as a throttle, strive to draw off syrup in a slow, controlled stream. Make your draws as long and continuous as possible.
Connect the Valve Assembly directly to your pan. Extending the assembly out further away from your pan increases the amount of torque/leverage on your pan fittings.

Connect this assembly to your pan’s 1-1/2″ draw-off port using your pan’s Sanitary Clamp and Gasket.
