During maple season this year I filled some small neck bottles using the Tomlinson Bottling Valve and a funnel. It worked but wasn’t easy and spilling syrup was common. I recently needed to repack 5 gallons of bulk syrup into small neck bottles so I ordered the reducer. Wow, it worked like a charm. Didn’t take very long to fill some larger mason jar with reducer in place as well. Should have got this reducer to start. Highly recommend if you will be filling smaller bottles.
