This modified nipple has 3/4″ NPT threads on one end and 1/2″ NPT threads on the other end. It is used as an adaptor.

This Modified Nipple is a part that is used in some variations of Sight Glasses and Float Boxes.

Always use plumber’s tape on threaded connections. It will prevent binding and enhance the seal.
