Most commonly this Pan Plug is used to plug a 3/4″ NPT pan fitting. It was designed to block off the float box port, so that the Float Box could be disconnected and drained.
Similarly, this plug can be used to block off a 3/4″ NPT Draw-Off Port, so that a Draw-Off Sight Glass can be disconnected or drained.
Insert the Pan Plug into the 3/4″ port from the inside of the Evaporator Pan.
