We’ll Never Forget You, James Murphy
At Smoky Lake, we believe that maple sugaring is more than just a process, it’s a rewarding, healthy hobby that connects people to nature. The initiative aims to make maple sugaring accessible to everyone and to help as many people as possible experience the joy of making their own syrup. Through the Smoky Lake Non-Profit & Education Initiative, we aim to support schools, nature centers, and community programs by assisting with the equipment and resources needed to bring these educational programs to life. By making it easier for organizations to teach the art of sugaring, we are helping to cultivate the next generation of maple producers.
Discounts are intended for non-profit organizations such as Nature Centers, Schools and Scout Troops. Grants are available to organizations with either a new or established maple syrup program, which benefits their community.
Smoky Lake calculates each assistance amount based on the total value of equipment your organization is seeking. For orders between $250 – $1,000, we offer a 5% discount on top of our existing website deals. For larger orders exceeding $1,000, the benefit increases to 10% OFF. As always, we include free shipping in the continental USA and our lifetime limited warranty on all Smoky Lake TIG welds.
An official representative from the non-profit must fill out THIS APPLICATION before August 31, 2026. A Smoky Lake Specialist will reply to you within 1 week of receiving your application.
Smoky Lake aims to distribute this program to as many non-profit maple programs as possible.
