Smoky Lake Non-Profit & Education Initiative

May 13, 2026

What is the initiative?

At Smoky Lake, we believe that maple sugaring is more than just a process, it’s a rewarding, healthy hobby that connects people to nature. The initiative aims to make maple sugaring accessible to everyone and to help as many people as possible experience the joy of making their own syrup. Through the Smoky Lake Non-Profit & Education Initiative, we aim to support schools, nature centers, and community programs by assisting with the equipment and resources needed to bring these educational programs to life. By making it easier for organizations to teach the art of sugaring, we are helping to cultivate the next generation of maple producers.

Who is Eligible for a Discount?

Discounts are intended for non-profit organizations such as Nature Centers, Schools and Scout Troops. Grants are available to organizations with either a new or established maple syrup program, which benefits their community.
