Great Cycle Challenge

This challenge was completed on October 1, 2022.

It was very heartwarming to see the maple community come together to support the Children’s Cancer Research Fund in this year’s Great Cycle Challenge. Smoky Lake was proud to match all of its sponsors donations dollar for dollar, for a total of $1295.30. Overall, The Great Cycle Challenge raised over 10.7 million dollars this year. It was a big win for children’s cancer research, and will help move us closer to finding a cure.

Smoky Lake’s owners, Jim and Angela, raised awareness for this cause by pedaling their bikes 75 miles throughout the month of September. Video updates from this journey are archived below.
