22 Gauge Stainless Steel

October 1, 2018

Stainless steel is a clean material. The high grade stainless steel we use (304) is resilient enough to handle the corrosive fire on the bottom side of the pans, and the mirror finish allows for perfect clean up, keeping your evaporator looking new and beautiful.

We use the 22 ga stainless steel, because thicker gauges of stainless steel simply cannot transfer heat as well. Our 22 ga stainless steel is just as important as the flues when it comes to efficiency.

NOTE: Thicker gauges are smaller numbers. For example, 18 gauge is over 60% thicker than 22 gauge. Chart of gauge thicknesses.
