Smoky Lake team members have thoughtfully chosen a new charity to benefit each week throughout February from sales on SmokyLakeMaple.com. After February, Smoky Lake will continue to support great charities in conjunction with its annual video contest.

We also advance science-driven laws and policies to enhance habitat connectivity…” This charity was nominated by Smoky Lake owner, Angela Schumacher, with interest in building wildlife migratory corridors which are often interrupted by highways. Feb 2 – 8, 2020	Australian Wildfires Relief Fund Fund is administered by GlobalGiving “All donations to this fund will support relief and recovery efforts for people and animals affected by the bushfires…” This cause was nominated by Smoky Lake owner, Jim Schumacher, with concern for wildlife recovery efforts. Feb 9 – 15, 2020	Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary “Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 no-kill, cage-free cat sanctuary and rehabilitation center that rescues kitties with special needs. Safe Haven accepts cases of abuse, neglect, FIV+, blindness…” This charity was nominated by Smoky Lake Artisan, Nick Kruse, who has a soft spot for domestic animals in need. Charity Navigator
Feb 16 – 22, 2020	National Multiple Sclerosis Society “Our vision is a world free of multiple sclerosis and we act with urgency to find solutions and change the world for people with MS.” This charity was nominated by Smoky Lake Office Manager, Jennie Blohm. Feb 23 – 29, 2020	American Brain Tumor Association “The mission of the American Brain Tumor Association is to advance the understanding and treatment of brain tumors with the goals of improving, extending and, ultimately, saving the lives of those impacted by a brain tumor diagnosis.” This cause was nominated by Smoky Lake Artisan, Dillon Thorne, in honor of his mother.
