This style of float box regulates the sap depth in the flue pan of a Smoky Lake Pan Set with standard configuration and right side draw-off. (See diagrams below.) This Float Box is compatible with both the Raised Flue and Drop Flue styles.

Inlet Float Boxes include fittings and drain. Sight Glass is an optional upgrade.

This Sight Glass configuration is compatible with Smoky Lake Float Boxes.

  • Anti-turbulence orifice to keep the liquid in the sight glass steady even during a rolling boil
  • The glass is fire polished and shatter-resistant
  • The scale can be placed by you to ensure the level is perfectly calibrated
  • Drainable so you don’t have to worry about it freezing overnight
