This style of float box regulates the sap depth in a standard 16″ x 30″ StarCat Divided Pan with right side draw-off. (See diagram below)

Inlet Float Boxes include fittings and drain. Sight Glass (to monitor sap depth) sold separately.

Having this float box makes a big difference in my boiling! Beautifully made and makes boiling using my Starcat with the divided pan SO much easier. I added the watch glass and it is as easy as set it and leave it. I now have a constant 2″ of sap in my pan. To make it easier to remove and clean, I went to the hardware store and purchased a quick release for a garden hose (no lead) and added it to the inlet of the float box so I can quickly and easily disconnect the tubing from my sap tank. Works great.
