Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha

Smoky Lake had pledged to donate to Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS), $5 for every video that was submitted in our 2022 Video Contest (Adventures In Maple). In the end, we received 93 video entries. We rounded up, and this past May, we donated $500 to support the HAWS mission.

In this video, we are touring HAWS to show you where and how this donation is being used. Visits such as this one ensure that Smoky Lake is being a responsible steward of its charitable funds, and also allows us to form stronger relationships with nonprofits in our community. Giving back is very important to all of us here at Smoky Lake!

As a result of this visit, HAWS and Smoky Lake are currently discussing ways we can collaborate on various events/projects in the future. We are very excited for this opportunity!
